From 6 to 8 September 2024, Russia will host a single voting day. Polling stations will open simultaneously in 83 regions of the country. We tell you how everything will happen.
More than 3.5 thousand election campaigns are planned at various levels. While in some constituent entities of the Russian Federation they will vote for a new regional head, in others they will vote for specific deputies. The latter will then join local authorities. In total, 74.5 thousand regional and municipal candidates have registered.

Elections have already begun in some regions of the Russian Federation. Residents of the Kursk and Bryansk regions, as well as Sevastopol, can now vote early. For evacuated Russians, there are extraterritorial places in temporary accommodation centres.
In addition, more State Duma deputies will be elected during the single election. 17 candidates from 20 political parties have registered. At the same time, only one has declared himself a candidate.
