Second, if the price is too high, it makes sense to wait 5-10 minutes.
Third, aggregators that offer to offer their own value are gaining popularity. Already one in ten Russians using taxi services ordered a car through a similar service at least once. This is also a way to save money.
In December 2022, the average cost of a taxi ride will be 650 rubles, while the annual average figure is 587 rubles, Sagun cites data. In December last year, a taxi ride cost the client an average of 648 rubles.
In 2021, on average, a taxi ride costs 538 rubles, and in 2020 – 415 rubles.
The popularity of taxis is constantly growing. In 2022, 35% of Russians regularly used the services of this type of transport, 5 pp more than last year. At the same time, 70% of Russians took at least one trip during the year compared to 59% the year before.
Taxi companies are now extremely cautious in revising their pricing policy and are trying to keep fares as low as possible, Sagun noted.
