The Marble Palace hosted the inauguration of a large-scale project “Parallel Universes. From Abstraction to Artifact”, which contains works by 36 artists of the second half of the 20th century from the collection of AZ Museum Director General Natalia Opaleva, namely 200 paintings and graphic works by underground masters from the 1960s and 1980: Anatoly Zverev, Dmitry Plavinsky, Dmitry Krasnopevtsev, Oleg Tselkov, Lydia Masterkova, Ernst Neizvestny, Vladimir Yankilevsky, Eric Bulatov, Francisco Infante, Yuri Zlotnikov, and Grigory Bruskin.
After the official part, the guests of the opening went to the Astoria Hotel for a cocktail, the musical accompaniment of which was provided by the musician Sergey Manukyan. We also remind you that Aleksey Grebenshchikov, pastry chef at Bourgeois Bohemians, created a special dessert with chocolate ice cream inspired by the exhibition.
