HSE alumni create a dating app that selects partners based on psychological compatibility

Date: June 25, 2024 Time: 15:07:34

Import substitution in action: HSE graduates Veronika Yakovleva and Valery Klimov developed the dating app Twinby. Its feature is the selection of partners for psychological compatibility. The app is now available for download.

Artificial intelligence helps make the perfect match. When registering, in addition to filling in the traditional “age”, “city” and “name” columns, you must pass a personality test. Based on this, Twinby will calculate the compatibility percentage with potential partners and suggest suitable ones.

The number of users already amounts to about one hundred thousand. Now the application is completely free, but next month the creators will present a Premium subscription (its price will not exceed 600 rubles).

Recall that Tinder announced a full withdrawal from Russia. Therefore, the editors of BURO. compiled a list of alternative apps. You can know more about them here.
