On June 21, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Creative Hub will host a business conference dedicated to how film festivals, theater events, and public art interventions help build local brands and support the local creative economy. The program includes a presentation of the “City of the Future” by SberCity, “Architectural Excesses” and a meeting of small towns.
The initiative to create and develop a territory brand usually falls on the shoulders of the city administration. Local managers need to look for new solutions that can ensure the organic growth of the creative economy, increase recognition of the place and the involvement of residents and visitors to the city. As part of the panel discussion and expert showreel, listeners will be able to dive into the inner workings of creative projects and find out what new requests and trends are emerging in territorial branding.
The event will begin with a session of short TED talks by experts in urban studies, sociology and territory marketing. Speakers include the historian of Soviet architecture and urban planning Konstantin Antipin, the head of the analytical department of Citymakers Anton Aisin, the project managing partner Dal Mark Borblik and the SberCity project team.
There will then be a panel discussion “Creating a Creative City”. And then, within the framework of the showreel, experts from different areas of the Design Lab will share how, based on the local identity of the regions, HSE creates new significant events for the territory, publishes printed publications, manufactures merchandising, packaging and offers. solutions for branding territories. Participation in the conference is free, prior registration.
Earlier it became known that the HSE School of Design is opening a bachelor’s degree in Yerevan. The first educational program will be Communication Design. We talk about it in more detail here.
