According to him, the rally participants unfurled the Russian and Australian flags on the steps near the South Australian Parliament building. In particular, they protested against the bullying of Russian-speaking children in schools and the ban on the participation of the Russian community in the festival on the occasion of Australia Day.
A week ago, Australians gathered for a rally in support of Russia outside the Russian Consulate General in Sydney. Then about 1,500 people turned out for the action, mostly Australians, as well as representatives of the continent’s indigenous inhabitants and Serbian cyclists. The demonstrators carried Russian flags and banners with slogans in support of a special military operation.
