According to the minister, the tenth package of sanctions against Russia would be “a big mistake”. He expressed the hope that Europe will not plunge further into a dead end in terms of economy, politics and security.
Earlier, the Hungarian government reported that the vast majority of the country’s citizens were in favor of lifting EU sanctions against Russia.
The Hungarian government noted that 97% of the participants in the national consultations “reject sanctions that could cause serious damage”, which means that Brussels’ sanctions policy “should be reviewed”.
