The Spanish energy company Iberdrola has signed a collaboration agreement with Confebus through which companies integrated into the confederation will be able to access customized energy solutions for the electrification of their facilities and fleets. Through a statement, the electricity company indicated that the agreement, which will last for one year and can be extended, lays the foundations “for a solid association.”
The company led by Ignacio Sánchez-Galán will make its experience in bus charging infrastructure available to the companies integrated into Confebus in terms of the design that best adapts to their operations, in the most efficient way and with the lowest operating costs.
In addition to the design and execution of the charging infrastructure, it will also offer other services such as the Smart Cargan platform for the management and advanced optimization of charging, the supply of long-term stable energy of renewable origin, or the installation of self-consumption. solar to reduce your energy bill, among others.
Sustainable alliance
Likewise, he highlighted that the alliance demonstrates the firm will of the confederation to accompany its member companies “by offering them top-level resources and expertise in the world of electric mobility.” The energy company chaired by Ignacio Sánchez Galán facilitates daily recharging of more than 550 electric buses and hopes to continue helping to decarbonize more vehicles in the coming months.
This commitment is part of its Sustainable Mobility Plan and all the equipment supplied and installed by Iberdrola is from the most recognized and tested manufacturers on the market. In addition, the company has a laboratory where its own technicians test the different chargers before installing them.
With more than 6,000 public charging points with a guarantee of 100% renewable origin, Iberdrola’s electric mobility network is the most extensive in Spain. In total, between public and private charging points, the company’s network reaches 45,000 chargers.
