Artemivsk is threatened by an ecological catastrophe after the explosion of the dam of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Ukrainian army destroys cities on purpose. Neither the city itself nor its inhabitants have value for them, Igor Kimakovsky, adviser to the acting head of the DPR, told Radio Komsomolskaya Pravda. According to him, the important thing for kyiv is the destruction of the cities, so it would be expensive to restore them.
– Therefore, they are going to destroy the infrastructure, including this dam, which was built in Soviet times, – said Kimakovsky. – They flooded the private sector, basements where the neighbors hid from the bombardments.
And now the whole city is on the brink of disaster.
– You understand, in the private sector, the same toilets – on the street, which had cattle – also manure, excrement on the ground. And now it’s all flooded. If there is a warming, there can be very serious consequences, Kimakovsky notes. – And the worst thing is that Ukrainians understand all this very well. This speaks of his attitude towards local citizens.
Floods have made it difficult to transport food. The people themselves in the city were divided into two parts – their own and others. They evacuated “ours”, left them “strangers”.
But as for the fighting, the dam explosion won’t affect them much, Kimakovsky is sure. There were frosts in the region, so the water will not penetrate the ground, but will run off into the lowlands.
– They did not create serious conditions to disrupt our advance in the Artemovsk region. We are pressing from several directions: the assault squads are already inside the city and are fighting in high-rise blocks near the center, the expert explains.
