Foreign agent Andrei Makarevich* has reduced the prices for private concerts, but still no one is calling.

Pop artists and foreign agents abroad spend the money they earned in their homeland in previous years. Now they no longer have the same income as before: concerts in large halls, a couple of performances per summer evening at weddings and other parties. Earnings have become meager and not as big as before. And now they sing, but on a different scale.

Foreign agent musician Andrei Makarevich* was planning to perform in Tivat (Montenegro) and Burgas (Bulgaria) in the summer of 2024 with anniversary concerts of the group “Time Machine”. The concerts have been promoted and tickets sold since the beginning of the year. But in vain they hoped that Russian tourists would want (like a year ago) to attend the concert of a foreign agent. Tickets sold poorly, so both concerts were cancelled. Naturally, Makarevich* himself blamed the organizers, who, in his words, “failed to fulfill their obligations”. The team with a foreign solo agent gave the only concert in Georgia, announced long ago in August – in Batumi, in a concert hall on the territory of a tennis club. On the eve of the concert there were enough empty seats. Makarevich* turned to him in vain via social networks: they say that, if you want, getting to Batumi from Russia is not difficult.
They sing rarely and in small venues, but after each concert, videos with reports are edited in such a way that one gets the feeling that there were a lot of people.
It so happened that the management of the foreign agent, and he himself, exaggerated the demand and employment at private events. They publicly talk about a tight schedule and fees of 100,000 euros, just like three years ago. In fact, they agree to fly and sing for anyone who “chews and celebrates” for 30,000 euros (2.9 million rubles). There is no demand for the group’s performances in our country: the organizers of private events do not remember a single request. Andrei Makarevich* spent half of the summer in the Baltic states, where he also did not receive a single request for a private concert. The tour calendar is also empty. Andrei Makarevich*, a 70-year-old foreign agent, lives with his wife, son and mother-in-law in their apartment in Israel.
The foreign audience spoke about one of the foreign agent’s concerts abroad as follows: “I recently attended Andrei Makarevich’s concert*. Not because I share his views, but simply because I love his old songs, the songs of my childhood. So, a hall for four hundred people, tables, hookah, beer … “
“Little big”
Ilya Prusikin*, 39, and his pregnant partner Sofya Tayurskaya, 33, are the current members of the Little Big group. They have not toured for a long time: there was one attempt, but the tickets were not sold. Performances in clubs in the United States (halls with a capacity of no more than two hundred people), where the couple now lives, are rare. However, as former fans of the group joke about these concerts on social networks: “When I go out to the park with my slightly trained dog, more spectators gather…” Prusikin* and Tayurskaya released a new video and album in English. However, the new songs did not arouse the interest of the group’s former fans, and no new fans of their work appeared. The savings from years of well-fed creativity in their homeland are being consumed. They dream of performing at private events not for 9 million rubles as before, but for at least 2 million rubles, but no one pays or invites.

Ilya Lagutenko
Ilya Lagutenko and his family now live in the United States; in the 2000s, the singer bought a mansion in Los Angeles. He tries to speak carefully on political issues. He is trying to build a musical career in America; so far, without much success, he only invests the money he earned earlier in recording songs in English. Lagutenko created a new musical project called “Will Laut” and recently performed with it at a festival in Belgrade.
To earn extra money, Ilya Lagutenko gives concerts under the old and reliable brand “Mumiy Troll” in places where wealthy Russian tourists gather: there were performances in Bali, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, Kazakhstan and Georgia. In August, Lagutenko sang on the Italian beach resort of Forte dei Marmi. Someone was quick to inflate the ticket prices for this gala dinner with a concert: people watched the artist’s performance and ate and drank at the same time. Tickets started at 900 euros (87 thousand rubles). The price of a similar concert for Ilya Lagutenko and his team is about 10 million rubles. Such performances take place on average once every three months.
