“Two and a half years ago, the park and the embankment of the Northern River station were put in order, now it is a favorite vacation spot for Muscovites and guests of the capital. Now we are embarking on another large-scale project – the improvement of the territory of the South River Station, “said Petr Biryukov. “The main goal is to organize a new attraction point for citizens with a promenade and comfortable recreation areas.”
During the improvement, underground cables will be removed, a storm system, water supply and sewage will be installed.
“At the South River station, five berths for vessels of various classes will be organized: pleasure and cruise, in each they will install convenient pavilions for passengers and wakes with a schedule,” explained Petr Biryukov. sediments and deepening of the bottom. The head of the Municipal Economic Complex emphasized that as part of the work the lighting will be modernized, the pedestrian zone will be expanded, the road and sidewalks will be repaved, and street furniture will be installed. At the final stage, the planting of trees and shrubs, the arrangement of flower beds and lawns will be carried out.
Convenient access roads to the South River Station building will be organized, next to it there will be a parking lot, a taxi rank and a stop pavilion for public transport.
