The most insignificant increase in cost is observed in the Krasnodar Territory (from 5984 to 6806 rubles) and the Chelyabinsk region (from 6402 to 7282 rubles). – Statistics show that the increase in the average cost of OSAGO is due to a sharp increase in the prices of spare parts. They represent 60-70% of the total insurance payment. In December 2022, the average OSAGO payment was already 91,314 rubles – 28% more than the same indicator in January. At the same time, the growth in the average cost of policies was mainly concentrated in Moscow and the Moscow Region, which is probably due to a large share of foreign cars in the fleet of these regions. In addition, a noticeable increase is observed in the Republic of Tatarstan. Most likely, this is due to a significantly higher frequency of road accidents in this region than in the entire Russian Federation. At the end of the 9 months of 2022, it amounted to 6.1%, while in Russia as a whole this figure is at the level of 5.1% and, for example, in the Krasnodar Territory, in which the increase at the average price of OSAGO it turned out to be minimal, it is 4. 1%, – explained Evgeny Ufimtsev.
