The court found that in November 2022 in the village of Kamennomostsky, at home, a man quarreled with his wife out of jealousy. As it appears from the materials of the criminal case, the defendant beat his wife with his hands and feet, and the woman died from her injuries.
“Having found a woman with no signs of life, the man decided to hide her body,” the Adygea prosecutor’s office reported. from the river, and told his relatives that the woman had disappeared.
The next day, the victim’s body was found on the river bank by local residents. After that, the Investigative Department of the Russian Investigative Committee for the Republic of Adygea started a criminal case on the fact of the death of a woman.
The court found the man guilty and sentenced him to a six-year prison term in a strict colony. The verdict of the court has not yet entered into force.
