According to the press service of the law enforcement agency, the court chose a restraining measure for the accused Russian citizen born in 1978 in the form of detention for a period of two months.
The woman was charged under art. 275.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Confidential cooperation with a foreign state, international or foreign organization.” The maximum penalty provided for in this article is 8 years in prison. According to TASS, we are talking about cooperation with the Ukrainian organization.
The ministry’s press service emphasized that it was about “confidential cooperation with a representative of a foreign organization to assist in activities knowingly directed against the security of Russia.”
