According to the Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Belarus for Emergency Situations Kirill Pervov, searches are underway in the river area and on the coast. 21 people are searching for the boy: rescuers, firefighters from the Beloretsk metallurgical plant and volunteers. Three boats and two catamarans are being used.
Although there are no results, the work continues. Meanwhile, within the framework of the preliminary investigation, the circumstances and causes of the tragedy are being determined.
