According to the press service of the government of the Republic of Buryatia, 25 million rubles were allocated for the creation of the center within the framework of the federal project “Invented in Russia” of the national project “Culture”. Your task is to develop the creative potential of the inhabitants of the republic, because now anyone can come here, create a model of an artistic product, and try to do it on special equipment.
The workshops, which are located in a separate VSGIK building, housed a design studio, a wood and metal products workshop (machining workshop, laser and painting workshops), an ornament workshop (a foundry workshop, a workshop of manual refinement, a stamping workshop ).
– Here you can make jewelry, unique things. I believe that the products will be in demand and on the eve of the centenary of the republic they will be of interest to tourists, – said Ivan Alkheev, Deputy Chairman of the Government of Buryatia.
In the center both specialists from Buryat organizations engaged in the production of souvenirs and private artists will create. Some of the professional craftsmen were involved in the creation of the center. Folk craft masters, jewelers, and hunters helped compile a list of equipment that was purchased for the workshops.
– Our teachers’ eyes burned when they received the equipment and launched it. For us, the opening of the center is a new opportunity for the development of our creative abilities among students and teachers, – said Elena Perova, Rector of the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography.
As the Minister of Culture of Buryatia Soelma Dagaeva noted, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation supervises the work of the prototyping centers.
– This is one of the links in the chain of creation of art clusters. Already this year we opened the School of Creative Industries, where children from 12 to 17 years old study. Then these guys can come to the center and create specific things, – emphasized Soelma Dagaeva.
