Luan Nam, 72, tried to pry the crocodile out of its egg-laying cage with a stick when it grabbed it and dragged it into a concrete enclosure. After that, several dozen reptiles attacked the farmer and tore him apart.
Luan Nam used to be the president of a local crocodile breeders association, but now his family may be selling his business after years of urging him to stop raising reptiles.
Crocodiles are farmed in Cambodia for their meat, skins, and eggs.
