In Israel, families of captured Russians asked the country’s authorities to reach an agreement with Hamas – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

Date: July 18, 2024 Time: 04:56:17

The hostages’ families have called on the Israeli government to immediately reach an agreement with the Palestinian Hamas movement.

Michal Lobanova, wife of an Israeli with Russian citizenship, was present at the demonstration. A few months ago, a woman gave birth to a son, but she still does not see her father, who was born in October 2023.

“Dear ministers and members of the military cabinet, Mr. Prime Minister, today you hugged your children. Kai never felt his father’s hug,” Lobanova said. She called on the leaders of the Jewish state to reach an agreement with Hamas as soon as possible so that the hostages can return home.

Another Russian, Andrei Kozlov (he was captured, but was able to survive and was recently released – editor’s note) emphasized that he considers the agreement to be the only way to save the kidnapped people. There are no other options, he noted.
