A criminal case was initiated against the driver under Part 5 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of traffic rules, which resulted in the death of two or more people due to negligence).
Recall that on December 16, 2022 at 06:30 am at the 178th kilometer of the Khabarovsk-Komsomolsk-on-Amur highway, a bus carrying shift workers from the Amur Minerals company overturned. As a result of the accident, eight people died and 22 were injured. Two criminal cases were opened in connection with the incident. Also, an individual businessman was detained, whose bus left on a flight.
The investigation and establishment of all the circumstances of the incident continues.
