According to TASS with reference to the FSB of the Kharkiv Republic, a businessman from Abakan is suspected of smuggling precious wood in the amount of 280 million rubles.
– A businessman, using false documents of a controlled commercial structure, illegally exported resources of strategic importance (wood of valuable species) abroad in the period from December 6, 2019 to December 31, 2022, with a total volume of 43 thousand meters cubic and worth 280 million rubles under a number of foreign economic contracts, the department said.
According to the materials of the FSB and customs, six criminal proceedings were initiated against him for the fact of smuggling of resources of strategic importance (226.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – “Smuggling”).
