According to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kemerovo Region, police second lieutenant Anastasia Grishina heard a dog squealing and barking on her way to work. It turned out that a pack of stray dogs attacked the Huskies. Anastasia dispersed the aggressive animals: when the flock fled, only a wounded thoroughbred dog with a harness around its neck remained in the snow.
She needed the help of veterinarians: Anastasia brought the dog to the clinic, where the animal was operated on. The inspector posted a photo of the husky on social media, but the dog’s owners did not appear.
Anastasia could not part with the rescued pet; she now lives in a family of “cops” and responds to a new nickname: Archie.
