The accident occurred around 12:30 p.m. local time. According to the Regional General Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the driver Zaz Chance violated the overtaking rules, lost control and collided with a NefAZ passenger bus, which was moving in the oncoming lane.
Twelve passengers of the “Topki – Kemerovo” bus route were not injured, no one called for medical help. Five people died in the car, including the driver.
Now, teams of the traffic police work in the place, as well as the operational-investigative group. The road is blocked, cars go to the highway “Bypass of the city of Kemerovo”.
