“We plan to repair a total of more than 330,000 square meters of asphalt along the entire length of the street. We will finish the repair in mid-July. The last time similar work was carried out was in 2017, since then, due to heavy traffic and sudden changes in air temperature, ruts have formed, which may negatively affect road safety,” said Deputy Mayor of Moscow, Pyotr Biryukov.
Once the asphalt replacement is complete, a new mark will be applied. Road repair work will be carried out mainly at night with partial traffic closures.
In total, in preparation for the autumn-winter period in Moscow, more than 23 million square meters of asphalt will be replaced on the main roads, streets, internal passages of the neighborhood and courtyards.
