According to the investigation, the 35-year-old priest serves as a priest of the Church of the Icon of the Unmade Savior. With the permission of his parents, a 12-year-old boy stayed overnight; in the morning they went to church together. In relation to this child, the priest performed depraved acts, the investigation suggests. The last episode was in February of this year.
Punishment under Part 2 of Article 135 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – indecent acts in relation to a person who has reached the age of 12, but has not reached the age of 14 – from three to eight years in prison. The defendant was taken into custody.
