The incident occurred in the city of Dalnerechensk on Kirpichnaya street. In the backyard of the house, a man was repairing a Mitsubishi Canter pickup truck. At some point there was an involuntary start of the car’s engine, which was stopped with the gearbox engaged. The car rolled forward, collided with the truck driver’s daughter walking in the yard, tore down the fence, crossed the driveway and crashed into a tree.
On the fact of the incident, a criminal case was initiated under Part 1 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Cause of negligent death”.
