Starting February 1, 2023, Russians will have the opportunity to authenticate an applicant to the ESIA (State Service Services) using a single biometric system to access information contained in a single public service portal. This is the requirement of the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of October 21, 2022 N 1879.
Citizens will be able to use the new method at will. To do this, you must register in the Unified Biometric System (UBS) and give your consent to use this service.
