According to Kirill Yarysh, Director of the Department of Resorts, Tourism and Consumer Sphere of the Sochi Administration, most often primroses are sold by natural persons, people who either collected these flowers themselves or bought them.
– For the extraction, storage, transportation, purchase and sale of plants listed in the Red Book, administrative liability is provided for in the form of a fine, – he said. – We urge residents and guests of the resort not to buy primroses, not to support violations of the law, thereby causing harm to nature.
Since the beginning of the year, more than 50 administrative materials have been compiled for a total amount of about 280 thousand rubles. It should be noted that compared to last year, there is a decrease in the facts of unauthorized sale of primroses.
