This was reported by the press service of the General Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region. Investigators found that several grocery stores, as well as bars and restaurants on Zhukovsky and Nekrasov streets were selling alcoholic beverages in violation of the law.

272 liters of alcohol of various types and denominations were seized in illegal circulation, of which 92 are counterfeit. Several drinking establishments did not have a license to sell alcohol. Therefore, its activities were suspended.

The perpetrators were brought to administrative responsibility. The issue of initiating a criminal case against businessmen who risk selling alcoholic beverages without a license is being resolved.
