According to data from 8 pm on the first day of voting above, turnout in the elections for the head of the region was 14.75 percent, in the by-elections for a deputy of the Russian Parliament – 14.76 – for a deputy of the Assembly Regional legislative: 17.17 percent, reported the regional electoral commission.
There are 1,185 people on the ballots for elections at all levels. Not only members of the commission work at the polling stations, but also observers from parties, candidates, the Public Chamber of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and simply concerned citizens who want to make sure that the process is fair.
On the first day of voting, September 8, the regional electoral commission received more than a hundred requests, and a significant part of them were related to topography: people asked about the location of polling stations.
Two complaints were also considered. One is related to illegal campaigns at polling stations (information was sent to the regional police); the second, with a violation of the procedure for the participation of the media in the coverage of the elections.
