According to the Khabarovsk Territory Traffic Inspectorate, at 04:45 a.m. a motorist driving two cars in a hitch ran over a pedestrian. The impact threw the woman into the oncoming lane, where she fell under the wheels of another car. Both cars, which were hitched, overturned into a ditch. The driver was not injured. A woman born in 1989 died on the spot.
Both drivers were subjected to breathalyzer tests with negative results.
Traffic police officers, experts and an investigator are working at the scene. It has been established that there is no artificial lighting at the scene of the accident. The deceased was not wearing reflective elements on her clothing.
The vehicles were seized and taken to a specialized parking lot.
