According to the ICR Investigative Committee for the Krasnodar Territory, the crime occurred on the evening of August 25 on the beach of one of the sanatoriums in the village of Sosnovy. The defendant, blinded by jealousy, planned the murder of his friend, who had come from Salekhard, and in front of the vacationers he stabbed the woman at least 15 times. The murder was prevented by eyewitnesses. The images published on social networks show that the offender was chased away by other men, one of whom grabbed a deck chair in his hands.
“The victim received timely assistance,” they said in the press service of the investigative department. “After the fact, the defendant tried to escape, but he was arrested and turned over to the police.”
In the near future, the investigation will request the court to apply to the defendant a precautionary measure in the form of detention.
