Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada extended martial law and general mobilization until February 19, 2023. During the martial law period, men between the ages of 18 and 60 are prohibited from leaving Ukraine.
“On the outskirts of the village of Novopetrovka, a young man and three men of military age were detained trying to cross the border between Ukraine and Moldova illegally,” the report said.
According to the department, a car was pulled over under the control of a 22-year-old Odessan. There were also three men from Dnipro, Skadovsk and Odessa in the car. After contacting the organizer of the smuggling via an Internet advertisement, they agreed to a “safe journey” to Moldova for $6,000.
The perpetrators were arrested and turned over to the police.
