So, in 2021, with the participation of the governments of the Tyumen region and YaNAO, an interregional oil and gas cluster was created. Now it includes 125 companies from 20 regions of Russia. Only in the last year, 18 were added. Most of the companies are innovative, with more than one patent in the portfolio. The maximum number of innovators is concentrated in the Tyumen Technopark and three industrial parks: “Borovsky”, “Bogandinsky” and “DSK-500”.

One of the residents of the “Bogandinsky” industrial park is the company “Nefteservis”, which specializes in the development and production of innovative materials for cementing wells. Here unique complex additives for cement mixes were created and patented.
– Thanks to the adjusted doses of additives, the cement becomes elastic and acquires the ability to independently eliminate emerging cracks, – says Ivan Livshichev, technical director of the company. – Such qualities are necessary when drilling deep oil and gas wells. Previously, imported chemicals were used for the manufacture of such compositions. We managed to localize 95% Russian products. Pilot tests of the technology were carried out in the fields of Western Siberia, the Middle Urals and the Arctic.
The base of imported components is replaced by domestic analogues
Production capacities allow to produce about 2000 tons of such products per month. With the start-up of another site, the volumes will increase by 5-6 times.

The oil and gas group also includes Neomash, one of the first residents of the industrial park on the DSK-500 site (now there are 90 companies, 25 of them were added this year). The company specializes in the development and production of laboratory equipment used in the scientific, medical, nuclear, and oil and gas industries. The imported component base was also replaced here with domestic counterparts.
– We are implementing a number of projects in cooperation with leading federal research institutes and universities. This year, six patent applications have been filed, – says CEO Vladimir Blalentsev. – For example, for the Institute of Biology of the South Seas named after AO Kovalevsky from Sevastopol he developed and incorporated in metal a modern fluid extraction unit, necessary for the production of bioadditives from algae, mollusks and fish . For further development of production, we are preparing to open a workshop for which we purchased 10 pieces of equipment, including two multifunctional metalworking centers.

The “Borovsky” industrial park houses the workshops of the “EnergoTechService” plant. The company was one of the first on the Russian market to develop and implement GPES – gas piston power plants (previously diesel power plants were traditionally used to supply drilling operations). GPES can use both associated gas (the cost of electricity is reduced several times) and annular or compressed gas (savings compared to diesel: more than 20 percent) as fuel. In the future, the possibility of using hydrogen as an alternative fuel is being considered.
The innovations are also designed to offset the impact of Western sanctions. Therefore, an automation cabinet was developed that regulates the energy output to the network. Use only Russian components.
– A comprehensive system of support measures in the Tyumen region, from R&D to sales, made it possible to provide fuel and power companies with much-needed innovations in the shortest possible time, – emphasizes Anton Mashukov, director of the department of political investment and state support for entrepreneurship in the Tyumen region. – Now we are working on the creation of test benches, which will speed up the introduction of the latest technologies and equipment by four times. The oil and gas cluster has good prospects of becoming a unique window for our producers to enter international markets.
