A woman with a gestation period of 13 weeks presented to the regional hospital No. 15 in the village of Nizhnyaya Tavda with complaints of abdominal pain.
Based on the results of the ultrasound and laboratory tests, the doctors suspected acute appendicitis. To confirm the diagnosis, the doctors decided to perform a diagnostic laparoscopy. A team consisting of the head of the surgical department Vadim Mukhin, obstetrician-gynecologist Tatyana Reznikova, and anesthesiologist-resuscitator Flera Fatykhova performed the minimally invasive operation.
