According to the investigators, in 2020, when the man was still holding the position of deputy boss, upon learning that the couple needed to improve their living conditions, he provided him with a service apartment. In return, he received 150 thousand rubles.
“After receiving the money, the official, knowing that the spouses were not registered as citizens in need of housing, without following the necessary procedures, illegally ordered the conclusion of a social employment contract,” said the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Commission from the Trans-Baikal Territory reported.
The following year, the man resigned from his high position. His actions were revealed by employees of the Department of Economic Security and Anti-Corruption of the regional Ministry of the Interior. According to his materials, a criminal case was initiated under Part 3 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
The former deputy head of the settlement has already been charged. His home was searched. He pleaded not guilty to the crime.
Recall that earlier the current head of Sretensky fell under investigation. A criminal case was opened against him for the threat of violence against a representative of the authorities (Article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
