– The Investigative Department of the city of Tuapse of the ICR for the region, based on the results of an audit of the unknown disappearance of four people, including a minor, as a result of a sharp deterioration in weather conditions and heavy rain, initiated a criminal case under Part 3 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, – says the report.
As it turned out, at around five o’clock in the morning on July 12, 2023, due to a heavy downpour in the village of Tyumenskoye, Tuapse district, one of the private houses was washed away into the Kazachya Shchel river, which flows in the Black Sea. Currently, the whereabouts of local residents aged 23 and 19 are known, as well as a 15-year-old adolescent who was in the house, as well as a 67-year-old neighbor from the village, who was in the house at around 5:30 p.m. a VAZ-2107 car swept away by water currents, are settling down.
To establish the whereabouts of the missing, large-scale search and rescue activities continue in the Black Sea, as well as along the coast. Employees of the search and rescue unit of the Russian Emergencies Ministry for the Krasnodar Territory and police officers participated in the search by the investigating authorities.
In a criminal case, investigators and forensic investigators carry out investigative actions to establish all the circumstances of the incident. The course of the investigation of the criminal case was under the control of the department by the head of the Investigative Committee of the ICR for the Kuban, Andrei Maslov.
