“We are launching a new poll. You can vote for the new name of the South Western Railway,” says the official publication of the Telegram channel.
Ukrainians were offered four options for a new name: kyiv, Stolichnaya, Central and Northern Railways.
Earlier it became known that the kyiv authorities renamed 95 streets, streets and squares associated with Russia and the Soviet past.
This is happening in many Ukrainian cities. The authorities in Lutsk, Kharkov, Dnipro, Krivoy Rog and Odessa announced plans to rename streets and squares. In a number of places, names in honor of Russian writers, artists and composers have already been abandoned.
