According to RIA Novosti, specialists of technical services are fully repairing the BMD-4M.

Remember that the airborne combat vehicle was adopted seven years ago. The main feature of the BMD-4M is a strong aluminum armor. Engine power – 500 horsepower. The speed on the highway is 70 kilometers per hour. Weight – 13.5 tons. Crew: three people and five paratroopers.
The vehicle is equipped with a 100mm gun with 34 high-explosive fragmentation rounds, a 30mm caliber 2A72 automatic cannon and a 7.62mm caliber PKTM machine gun.
The BMD-4M fire control system includes a high-precision dual-plane stabilized sight and has thermal imaging and rangefinder channels. This makes it possible to take accurate shots on the move.
