The ice floe broke off while people were walking there with their dogs. They were taken ashore by specialists from the State Inspection of Small Boats. According to the head of the rescue service of the city of Vladivostok, Igor Kubarev, 17 people have already been rescued from the ice floes since the beginning of the year.
“Unfortunately, some residents do not listen to our recommendations and allow themselves to risk their own lives,” he says.
