The woman is accused of torturing two people who are in a defenseless state (points “a”, “d” of part 2 of article 117 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), the press service of the investigative department from the city of Yakutsk of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Investigative Committee for the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) reports.
According to the preliminary version, from January 9 to 21, 2023, a Yakut woman cared for two- and four-year-old children, whom she systematically beat out of personal displeasure. The children’s mother, noticing the change in her behavior, exposed the hard-hearted babysitter and released the video of the abuse.
The investigation gathered all the necessary evidence. The children received psychological help. The criminal case was sent to the court for consideration on the merits.
