The textile giant Inditex will pay an advance on account of 3% in those provinces that have their agreements paralyzed, which prevent for the moment the wage increases agreed for this year. On the other hand, the incentive of 1,000 euros that will be fulfilled in November for dependents will be renewed automatically
The company has formed the state table with the CCOO and UGT to address global measures on wages, as reported by the unions. The objective of said state table is to address global aspects in terms of salary policy in all group companies and in all territories, taking into account both the situation and levels of provincial collective agreements, as well as the impact that inflammation is having on purchasing power of the staff, as well as the commitment to review and improve the commission system for store personnel.
Inditex has reported that the objectives have been met in 99% of the stores, which implies the “completely generalized” collection of the incentive for dependents agreed by both unions in the agreement last November. In this way, it is demonstrated that this policy has been effective.
Both the CCOO and the UGT have also claimed existing bonuses in different provincial agreements and the definition of criteria for improving the incentive system in the different brands, issues that will be discussed during the next meetings they will have with the company.
The unions are committed to specifying these outreach measures in terms of social conditions, promotion, working hours, hours and conciliation, in this area of negotiation or in the open negotiation of the group equality plan, with meetings during the month of February.
