Indra soars in the stock market after raising the dividend and reaping record profits

Date: April 1, 2023 Time: 17:38:58

Indra leads the increases in the Ibex and registers a rise of more than 4% after announcing an increase in shareholder remuneration of up to 67%. Specifically, the dividend goes from 0.15 euros to 0.25 euros, driven by the record net profit of 172 million in 2022, which represents an increase of 20% compared to the previous year. The company will make the payment to the title holders on July 12.

After two hours after the opening, the titles of the technology group are trading at 12.4 euros. An impulse that will also be reinforced with the expectation that it will overcome the barrier of 4,000 million income. During 2022, its turnover increased by 14%, to 3,851 million, increased by Minsait, whose business volume has grown by 18%, and Defense, which has increased by 6%.

The group has also registered a gross operating profit (Ebitda) of 400 million (+14.3%), while the operating profit (Ebit) has stood at 300 million, the all-time high. In addition, its contracting portfolio has also reached its record and stands at over 6,300 million, which implies a growth of almost 16% in the last year.

Colonial presents the cross of the Ibex

The ‘red’ part of the session is led by Colonial, which loses almost 5%, to 6.48 euros per share after presenting results that have disappointed the market. The real estate profit has plummeted 98% to 8 million, due to the accounting impact of the loss of value of its assets. This effect has no impact on the company’s cash, which is why the recurring result, which reflects the evolution of the business, increased by 26%, to 161 million.

The socimi led by Pere Viñolas has reiterated its intention to continue with its divestment plan for 500 million, which includes the sale of six assets. This will allow us to continue on the path of reducing leverage, which reaches 4,934 million. The income received by Colonial from the rental of its spaces reached 354 million, which represents an increase of 13%.
