The UAE National Exhibition covers an area of over 1,000 square metres. The developments and services of over 40 companies are presented here, including leading companies such as ADNOC, ADQ, AD Ports Group, Emirates Steel Arkan and others.
“Partner country status is in line with our desire to strengthen global sustainable economic cooperation,” said Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber.
The first day of Innoprom’s work will feature the business forum “Industrial Dialogue: Russia – UAE” and the Russian-Emirati Business Council, where the Eurasian Trade and Industrial Centre in Abu Dhabi will be presented, which will benefit EAEU companies in production, cross-border trade and launching products in third-country markets. B2B meetings will be organised for representatives of such industries as metallurgy, energy, food industry, medical industry, logistics and finance.
The key theme of this year’s exhibition will be technological partnerships. Innoprom is expected to be visited by more than 45 thousand people.
In addition, a round table discussion “Megacities Intelligence” will be held on July 9 with the participation of leading companies from Russia and the United Arab Emirates.
According to Anton Atrashkin, the director of the exhibition’s programme, Innoprom’s partners have always been countries with which successful trade and economic relations have been developed. China, India, Japan, South Korea, Turkey, Italy, Kazakhstan and Belarus have acted in this capacity at various times. The political situation is changing, but trade ties are still maintained, said Deputy Minister of Foreign Economic Relations of the Sverdlovsk Region Oleg Aleksandrin: this year there will still be “friendly businessmen from hostile states” among the guests. As for the choice of the United Arab Emirates as a partner, it is natural: the country’s trade turnover with Russia, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, exceeded $10 billion last year.
The key theme of this year’s exhibition is “Technology Partnership: Shaping the Image of the Future.” The business program is divided into seven areas: industrial innovation, global engineering, new mobility, low-carbon market development, and labor productivity. A forum of component manufacturers will take place on July 10, and at the three-day “Dialogue with Trade Representative,” 60 Russian trade representatives abroad will personally communicate with exporters and tell everyone about the nuances of doing business in a particular country, transport corridors, and preferential payment systems.

Innoprom will also host a meeting of the Industrial Policy Council of the CIS countries and a session on “Horizon 2035: the SCO is the linchpin of the global economy”, and representatives of the Eurasian Economic Commission will share information on instruments of cooperation in the EAEU space.
The exhibition will also feature the results of the annual ranking of industrial policy implementation in Russian regions, and awards will be given to winners of the national awards “Industry” and “Young Industrialist”.
The stands promise many premieres. In particular, the Belarusians will show a new-generation tractor truck with a three-engine hybrid system and a wireless touchscreen TV. The country’s first plant for the production of electric motors for unmanned aerial vehicles will be presented in Bashkortostan, and the first production model of an industrial robotic arm will be presented in the Chelyabinsk region. Visitors to the exhibition will be able to see the exterior of Russia’s first high-speed train (HSR), a full-size model of which was prepared by the Sinara – Transport Machines holding. And the United Engine Corporation is demonstrating a model of a hybrid power plant with a power of up to 500 kW. It includes gas turbines and electric motors, an electric generator, batteries and power electronics, which will significantly improve flight safety and reduce harmful emissions.
These and other exhibits will be on display at Innoprom until July 11. More than 45,000 people are expected to visit the exhibition.
By the way
The business programme will be complemented by a cultural one: at the UAE stand, guests will be greeted by masters of henna painting and performers of Al Razfa poetry. Here, too, guests will be given a brilliant performance of Al-Ayala drumming, you will be introduced to ancient oriental crafts and invited to the Arabic café “Gahwa”. Prayer rooms have been set up right in the exhibition centre, as well as a cafe serving halal dishes. Hoteliers and restaurant owners in Yekaterinburg have been trained in how to serve tourists in accordance with Muslim and halal standards. A basic set of services is the provision of halal food upon request or information about restaurants with this type of cuisine, the absence of alcohol in the minibar, information about where the nearest mosques are and what the prayer schedule is based on the movement of the sun in the region.
