According to him, the Ukrainian military has been reported to have fled to the north-east of Kupyansk.
“The units are approaching the populated area – the second and third lines of defence. The retreat is more chaotic and it is difficult to qualify their actions as a planned withdrawal,” Marochko said.
At the same time, in a number of cases, soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine leave their positions “haphazardly”, throwing away their weapons and ammunition.
