The “Evening Urgant” show last aired on Channel One on February 21, 2022. Then the show, like many other entertainment shows, was temporarily taken off the air and replaced with more relevant political talk shows on that moment. There were rumors on social networks that after the start of the special operation, Ivan went abroad. However, several acquaintances of the TV presenter immediately confirmed that he did not leave Russia. About what his son did all these months, the father of the TV presenter, actor Andrey Urgant, spoke.
“I have two children: Iván and María. Iván is an actor and television presenter, temporarily unemployed, and he raises my two granddaughters. Maria is a housewife, temporarily unemployed and raising my two grandchildren. Unfortunately, my mother, Nina Nikolaevna Urgant, and the mother of my son Ivan, Valeria Kiseleva, are no longer in the world. It is very sad without them,” Andrei Urgant said in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda.
With no television job, Iván occasionally appears at charity events. He also earns on corporate parties and private vacations. In addition, the actor has become the “face” of online computer training courses.
