Jake Gyllenhaal turned up at UFC 285 in Las Vegas to film scenes from the upcoming 1989 Road House remake. The actor weighed in alongside former fighter Jay Heron, who will play one of the lead roles. First, Gyllenhaal stands on the scales and brags about his muscles, then Chiron.
The two wrestlers stand face to face. Gyllenhaal’s hero unexpectedly hits the opponent and a fight begins. Former UFC champion Conor McGregor also starred in the new version of Roadhouse. He was also at the weigh-in and cheered on the crowd as Gyllenhaal weighed in.
“I can’t believe my six weeks of preparation have gone to this man I need to fight. Give me the belt now,” Gyllenhaal says from the script into the host’s microphone.
