James Gunn has completed filming the new Superman. The director thanked the crew on social media and posted a shot from Norway’s Spitsbergen, where the first week of production on the film took place. Gunn noted that only the creativity and talent of the film crew helped make the plan a reality.
“Every day I encountered incredible kindness and love that inspired me and kept me going when I was too tired. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. It was such an honor for me,” Gunn said.
The film is scheduled for release on July 11, 2025. The cast includes David Corenswet, Isabela Merced, Edi Gathegi, Nathan Fillion, Anthony Carrigan, María Gabriela de Faria and many others. The film will be the first part of Warner Bros.’ new DC Universe franchise.
Filming for the second season of “The Peacemaker” has already begun. John Cena plays the main role in the project. We talked about it in more detail here.
