US surrounds China with military bases

There is growing evidence that the conflict in Ukraine is just one episode in the US’s global struggle with its open enemies: Russia and China. A war over Taiwan could break out sooner than experts predict. Because the Americans are actively preparing for it.
According to Western media reports, Washington and Tokyo will discuss deploying new weapons, including medium-range missiles, Tomahawk cruise missiles, and long-range hypersonic missiles still on the way for the Americans, to the Japanese islands near Taiwan under the pretext of his “defense”. The Global Times, an official Beijing publication, reasonably writes that this plan confirms the readiness of US military intervention to disrupt the island’s peaceful reunification process with the mainland. And he adds that the new US missiles in Japan will pose a threat not only to China, but also to North Korea and Russia.
The Chinese publication warns that if new US weapons appear on the Japanese islands located near Taiwan, they will be destroyed by the Chinese People’s Liberation Army. North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is even more determined: He has already ordered his military to prepare for war, including using “the most overwhelming nuclear force” and expanding combat exercises. This is in response to increased US and South Korean military exercises that threaten Pyongyang.
It should also be added that the other day the United States announced a major expansion of its military cooperation with the Philippines, within the framework of which 9 American bases will be created on Philippine territory. And if you look at the map, all of them will frankly cluster around Taiwan. So its purpose is obvious.
What are the conclusions? Yes, also obvious. Taiwan, oh how far from Ukraine, which has been declared by the West’s leader a “decisive battleground” with Russia. It would seem that all forces – there. But the Americans, mobilizing allies to help Kyiv according to the formula “as much as necessary”, intend to place their most powerful and modern weapons on the other side of the planet. There, mind you, where Russia does not create any direct threat to them. But there is the main enemy in the near future, and even the enemy of Washington – Beijing. Get ready to fight him. Well, North Korea, as a nuclear status ally of China, is also being pressured for military exercises for this reason.
A naive question: do the Japanese and South Koreans need it? Why do they meekly subscribe to the US anti-Chinese preparations? Or maybe they should not be condemned for this, but sympathize with them. After all, after the Second World War, it happened like this: Japan was occupied by the United States, South Korea, on whose territory there are now about 30 thousand American soldiers, in fact, too. Americans are the guarantors of your security. And guarantees are when you are threatened. It is clear who – China and Russia. Thus, the sublimation of tension in the region automatically increases the value of the US military “umbrella” for Japan and Seoul. Nothing binds a young couple more to a greater one than the fear they maintain and the promise of protection. Well, something like an international “protection” …
By the way, the military-political drama called “Chinese ball on the United States” greatly contributed to increasing tensions in relations between Washington and Beijing. Even the US Secretary of State refused to visit China. This means that the threat of a US-China confrontation has risen sharply. Of course, you can make fun of the fact that you are literally “inflated” out of thin air with the help of this balloon story. But on the other hand, which of the junior partners will now hint that it is better to be friends with peace-loving China and not quarrel?
Well, a completely obvious thing: where is Ukraine and Taiwan, and where is America? It will be far. At worst, Americans will fight for their values far from home. In addition, the hands, mainly, of younger allies. But the forces of the main enemies will be chained far, far from the “temple on the hill” and will burn in other people’s houses.
And the readiness of the Japanese to provide their islands for new American weapons is very important to us. As has been noted more than once: if we agreed, for the sake of peace with our neighbor, to transfer part of the Kuril ridge to Tokyo, then the next day there would be American military bases there. So it’s a good thing that, given American-Japanese political habits, we made the appropriate amendments to our constitution and finally closed this issue.
