Jennifer Hermoso denies Rubiales: “At no time did I consent to the kiss”

Date: September 29, 2023 Time: 17:14:59

Jennifer Hermoso has not been slow to deny Luis Rubiales. After the commotion about the kiss, the forward of the Spanish National Team affirmed that she “at no time” consented to the kiss on the mouth that the leader gave her in the celebration of the world title last Sunday. In statements by Hermoso through a FUTPRO statement, “I want to clarify that, as seen in the images, at no time did I consent to the kiss he gave me and, of course, in no case did I seek to raise the president. I do not tolerate that my word be questioned and much less that they invent words that I have not said”, he pointed out.

In addition, the Spanish team player, in a personal capacity, has published an individual statement on Twitter, in which she states that the words of Luis Rubiales in the Assembly “are categorically false.” In addition, she adds that the RFEF “has pressured my environment to give a testimony that little or nothing has to do with my feelings.”

Hermoso leaves the matter in the hands of FUTPRO

The Madrid striker has left the defense of her interests in the hands of the Association of Professional Soccer Players, after Rubiales’ statements in the morning at the Extraordinary Assembly at the Ciudad del Fútbol. The president of the RFEF ruled out her resignation, despite the political, social and sports siege, and stated that the kiss was consented.

Rubiales explained that Hermoso “raised him off the ground” to grab him by the legs and when he left him on the ground they hugged. “And I told her, forget about the penalty. You’ve been fantastic and without you we wouldn’t have won this World Cup. She answered me, you’re a crack. And I told her, a little bit and she told me, okay,” she added.

The Madrid striker announced the business shortly after in a FUTPRO statement in which a hundred players, including the 22 world champions in Australia together with Hermoso, show their support for the Mexican Pachuca player and their “round condemnation of conduct that has violated the dignity of women”.
