The Italian brand Jil Sander showed an advertising campaign for the spring-summer 2023 collection, which was presented for the first time at Milan Fashion Week. The collection is inspired by California, which is also reflected in the photo shoot: in the frames of the model Adwoa Aboah and Jonas Gler posing against the background of palm trees. Hypebae writes about it.
“California means fighting for different ways of living and being, from hippie visions to Silicon Valley futurism. These are radical perspectives, non-conformity, experiments with psychedelics, contradictions and opportunities,” shared the brand’s creative directors Lucy and Luc Meyer.
The launch includes tasselled dresses and lilac knit tops, white feathered blouses, long jackets, leather bags, glittery knit clutches and boots.
Let’s remember that at the Milan show, Jil Sander presented motorcycle suits, outdoor parkas, dresses with floral crochet appliqués, coats and fur coats in acid tones. Read more about Milan Fashion Week here.
